About ONE Magazine

ONE NUMBER FOUR: changes

Dear Reader,
Welcome to Changes, the latest ONE conversation. Inside you’ll find an exciting, challenging, provocative and eclectic mix of art, people, culture and comment. We’ve got films from Eastern Europe and NYC, politics from the Firth, fiction from Glasgow, notes from China and plenty in between.

Why ONE? Our only goal is quality. Our contributors range from teenagers in our prison writing programs to the man who published Samuel Beckett. To date, our youngest writer is 19, our oldest 81. But it’s not about labels. It’s about the work.

Independents work well for music and film. We are a first for innovative publishing, here and online at IamONE.co.uk  You can find ONE throughout Edinburgh and Glasgow in retail outlets, throughout Scotland in the public libraries — in Amsterdam, London, New York City, Paris, Prague, Stockholm… and we’re still expanding.

I firmly believe that we are all obligated to participate in our society.
ONE is our collective effort.

Thank you for joining us.
