Ron Butlin, who contributed HAPPY HOUR, a very well-received excerpt from his upcoming novel, in ONE Number 3: them and us, has been named ‘Makar’ or ‘Poet Laureate’ of Edinburgh, the official UNESCO City of Literature. His post will commence on 1 June, 2008.
